In 2017, Europe and the world will look back at the start of the Protestant Reformation, a theological and sociological revolution that changed Christianity forever.

Nowadays, some historic Protestant State Churches and the Roman Catholic Church are calling to leave the divisions of the past behind and start a new era of reconciliation and ecumenical unity. They believe the Reformation is something to be commemorated but not celebrated.

On the other hand, many other Christians believe Martin Luther's return to the authority of the Bible and the Five Solas is something that has to be celebrated. Many evangelical Christians say: “the Reformation is not over”.
