There are 61 languages with complete Bibles. Readers in English, Spanish and French have many more options than those living in Eastern European countries.
Strong international languages like English, Spanish and French have more than 25 Bible translations each, according to the United Bible Societies.
English-speaking readers can choose among more than 60 versions, and Spaniards can find a range of more than 40.
In France and other French-speaking European regions, Christians use more than 25 versions, and in the German-speaking world (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) there are at least 15 Bible translations.
Italian readers can find 16 Bible translations, and the Portuguese have 15 versions available.
Other languages, in contrast, have less options to choose. There are 10 Swedish Bible versions, 8 in Romanian, 8 in Polish, 6 in Russian, 3 in Slovak, 4 in Albanian and 3 in Latvian.

According to the United Bible Societies there are 61 European languages with complete Bibles, 39 more with the New Testament, and 112 others with portions.
