There’s a Heavenly kind of logic, right there: If you believe, you’ll see (not the other way round).
Last night, sitting on my bed, I was going over all the challenges facing me (many of them were repeat offenders). I was feeling down and I talked to God a little about it all before going to sleep.
Craw! (sounds like ‘crois’, ‘believe’ in French)
This morning (very, very early in the morning #¿!), a whole flock of crows were assembled just in front of my window, preaching to me!
‘There were only two!’ said my wife, but I think it must have been a whole family, from grand-parents to distant cousins.
‘There were only two!’ said my wife, but I think it must have been a whole family, from grand-parents to distant cousins.
Annoyed (and above all, awake), I curled up under the blankets again and tried to get back to sleep... suddenly, I understood! They keep on repeating the same thing, over and over again:
– Crois! Crois! Crois! Believe! Believe! Believe!
I think back over everything that is getting me down, adding ‘believe!’ at the end.
A real joy took hold of me... (Belief was exactly what was missing from my prayers, in fact!)
Woof! (sounds a bit like ‘vois’, ‘see’ in French)
To make sure I really got the message, a dog (that’s about all that was missing from this show!) added its voice to the din:
– Vois! Vois! Vois! See! See! See!
Hey... (?!) There’s a Heavenly kind of logic, right there:
If you believe, you’ll see (not the other way round).
It’s funny, but when I’d finished going through the list of all the things that were getting me down, both the dog and the crows have gone, as if by magic...
This morning, on the way to the baker’s*, it’s a cloudy day, but in my head the sun is shining brightly, my brain sparkles with joy, yippeee!!!
(* I’m tracking down my breakfast)
