The 3- hour class aims “to equip us with practical knowledge and skills for courageous idol removal in our life and in the lives of those we serve”.
The third online master class planned by the Forum of Christian Leaders (FOCL) for this year will take place on Saturday, 12 March.
Once again, registration is free and available for all.
Dave Patty, President of Christian association Josiah Venture and founding member of Global Youth Initiative, which mobilizes and equips youth ministry trainers in over 60 countries, will give a 3-hour-long (15.00 – 18.00 London Time) class called “The secret path out of spiritual dryness: Finding and removing hidden idolatry in your life”.
This master class aims “to equip you with practical knowledge and skills for courageous idol removal in your life and in the lives of those you serve”.
In order to achieve it, Patty “will examine the seven archetypes of idols described by Josiah in 2 Kings 23 and how those same idols express themselves today, for discovering our hidden idols, as well as the practical steps to remove them”.
The FOCL will hold it by Zoom with a time for questions and answers. Participants will be able to join from home or in groups from church settings.
There will be another free master class online on Saturday 23 April, taught by John Stevens, the National Director of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches , titled “Evangelical responses to critical race theory”.
The FOCL also organises the annual European Leadership Forum conference in Wisla, Poland.
