God Does Nothing without Your Permission

Does God ever go against our wills?

FRESH BREEZE AUTOR 18/Will_Graham 08 DE JULIO DE 2017 10:00 h

Brothers and sisters, welcome once again to Fresh Breeze. Today I want to examine a popular idea that has popped up in certain Christian circles, namely, that God is a perfect gentleman and therefore He will never do anything against our will or without our permission.

Let’s see what the Scriptures have to say…

1.- God didn’t ask for Adam or Eve’s permission to create them.

2.- He didn’t ask for their permission to chuck them out of Eden.

3.- He didn’t ask anyone’s permission to destroy the world by means of a flood.

4.- He didn’t ask permission from Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy their cities.

5.- He didn’t ask for permission from Pharaoh to destroy the land by plagues.

6.- He didn’t ask for permission to drown Pharaoh and his army in the vast Red Sea.

7.- He didn’t ask for permission to annihilate Korah and his men.

8.- He didn’t ask for Balaam’s permission to fill him with the Spirit of God so that he would pronounce blessing rather than cursing upon the Lord’s people.

9.- He didn’t ask for permission to hand Samson over to the Philistines.

10.- He didn’t ask for Saul’s permission to stop him from killing David.

11.- He didn’t ask for permission to take Elijah up to heaven.

12.- He didn’t ask for permission to wipe out Sennacherib’s army in the days of Hezekiah.

13.- He didn’t ask for permission to stick Jonah in a fish’s belly.

14.- He didn’t ask for permission to lead His people into captivity.

15.- He didn’t ask for permission to raise Lazarus from the dead.

16.- He didn’t ask for permission to slay Ananias and Sapphira.

17.- He didn’t ask for permission to open Lidia’s heart so that she would pay attention to Paul’s preaching.

18.- He didn’t ask for permission to finish with King Herod.

19.- He won’t ask for permission to punish evildoers eternally.

20.- He won’t ask for permission before throwing Satan into the lake of fire and sulphur.

And the list could go on and on.

Conclusion

So, God never does without our permission, sure He doesn’t?
