Butterfly

"Who are these that fly along like clouds, …?” (Isaiah 60:8)

Butterflies, just like this peacock of the species (the Inachis io), which I photographed in Ivars d’Urgell (Lleida, Spain), are lavish displays of design and intelligence all over their anatomy.

Their antennae possess the vitally important senses of smell and touch, while their sense of taste is located in the tips of their legs.

Just by settling on the petals of a flower they can tell whether it is poisonous or, on the contrary, a potential source of food. Personally, I see each and every butterfly as a tiny fingerprint of their Creator.
