Every Thursday, the Evangelical Alliance of the United Kingdom posts a prayer “to ask God for His peace, grace and guidance during a difficult time for our nation”.
On June 23, 2016, the UK voted to leave the European Union (52% to 48%). Since then, there have been many debates inside and outside the country about the Brexit.
Last November, Prime Minister Theresa May came back from Brussels with a draft exit deal with the EU, but the negotiations continue, and it is uncertain if the UK would leave the EU at 11pm London time on Friday, 29 March 2019, as it is scheduled.
In the midst of all this, the UK Evangelical Alliance (EAUK) has launched an initiative to pray for the Brexit process.
Each Thursday before 29 March 2019, they will post a new prayer for Brexit in the EAUK website.
“We would love for you to join with us in coming before God our Father to ask for His peace, grace and guidance during a difficult time for our nation”, the EAUK says.
Additionally, they “will also be working with other organisations and partners to serve the church as we unite in prayer at this key moment in history”.

We pray for our leaders, that you would give them wisdom and courage.
