The unity initiative Spain We Pray for You brought together evangelicals from across the country.
Spanish evangelicals participated in the prayer meetings and marches that the Spain We Pray for You (España Orampos Por Ti, EOPT) platform organised throughout the country on Saturday 10 June.
Over 40 prayer meetings were held in 34 provinces and in the city of Melilla.
In some places, “it was possible to hold marches of worship and proclamation, and they ended up in a public square where Christians prayed”, but in others, “the premises of a church, civic centres or public squares” were the spaces used.
The day was carried out “with great joy and happiness”, the organisers said. In each of the meetings the main goal of praying together members of a range of evangelical churches was fulfilled.
The theme this year was “The Great Collaboration”, based on John 17:20-23.

According to EOPT, Spain “needs the message of salvation in Jesus Christ to reach every person. We wait patiently to see the fruit of the effort that the church in Spain is making”.
Several resources can be found on the website of the event, and the date of the next national convocation has already been announced: Saturday 8 June 2024.

“Let us continue to work so that this great collaboration allows us to encourage others to join in this time of prayer and unity”, concluded the EOPT.
