All of ‘Evangelical Focus’ on a new WhatsApp channel

It’s not easy to navigate the world of social media and its algorithms. Not even for us at Evangelical Focus, who have been publishing content online for 10 years - 32,000 articles posted to the global network, to be exact.

But today we are launching a new way to follow our content. Well, it’s not really new... WhatsApp is one of the oldest apps in the current social media landscape! But we have realised that the channels on the green instant messaging app are one of our readers’ favourites.

Our newsletters keep going, with over 1,000 of you receiving our news every day. And apart from Facebook, Instagram, X... we are making the move from Telegram to WhatsApp.

The goal is the same as we’ve told you before: to avoid the obstacles of those social networks whose changing algorithms are beyond our control and end up hiding (or ‘penalising’, to use a more technical term) our content: because it’s not polarising enough, because it talks about faith, because we don’t spend money on advertising... Whatever the reason.
