The New Life Spiritual church meets the practical and spiritual needs of around 15 families, who have become part of its congregation.
Families who have fled from Syria to Turkey often suffer great hardship and insecurity.
Not only have they had to leave all their belongings behind in their home country, they also have to fear deportation back to the war zones.
At the same time, many fathers try to build a new future for themselves and their families on the European continent on their own, leaving their wives and children behind in Turkey for the time being.
As a result, the family members remaining in Turkey face even greater financial hardship and often have to be provided with the bare necessities.
In the midst of this situation, our brothers and sisters of the Turkish Evangelical Alliance are doing their best to provide spiritual and practical support to families in need.
One of these projects is the work of pastor Armanj H. and his New Life Spiritual church, which supports around 15 families who have become part of their congregation from month to month.
In doing so, they meet the practical needs as well as the emotional and spiritual needs of the people, as the families often carry a deep fear in their hearts.
They all want nothing more than the possibility of a better future for their children.
The Turkish New Life Spiritual church supports the families in paying their rent and covering their living expenses, which includes food and clothing.
Although all the families have at least a small source of income, as the mothers and older children work, the church has to provide additional financial support to the families, which has recently become an increasing burden for the New Life Spiritual church and pastor Armanj H.
Thanks to funding that the European Evangelical Alliance has thankfully received from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Wuerttemberg (Germany), it is possible to donate to the work of New Life Spiritual church among families in need in Turkey.
We thank the generous donors and are grateful to God that we can be a platform for enabling practical support and tend to a world in need.
