Fulani herdsmen have increasingly adopted ideology and methods similar to Islamic extremist groups like Boko Haram. The kidnapped girls are forcefully converted to Islam and married off.

Fulani herdsmen attacked a village, burned the a Baptist church, killed a man and abducted seven Christians.

A tribal mob, incited by Hindu extremists, killed the 16-year-old, falsely accusing him and other targeted Christians of practicing black magic.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen killed several Christians, kidnapped 19 and burned at least 12 houses throughout Nigeria in May.

Analysts have detected ties between Muslim Fulani herdsmen and Islamic extremist groups.

Up to 50 Christian schools and hospitals have been affected, and the military has kidnapped four churches. “We need peace and the UN intervention”, a Cameroonian Christian says.

The families of the victims say they were abducted by Muslims who wanted to convert them to Islam and marry them. These abductions have become a recurring phenomenon in Egypt.

The Nigerian Information Minister says that 101 of the 110 girls abducted have been freed. Reports say that a Christian girl is still in captivity because she refused to convert to Islam.

Rebeca, a Nigerian Christian, was kidnapped for 2 years, raped and got pregnant with the son of a terrorist. Her faith made her strong to endure the terror.

One minor was held for 25 days, another is  still in custody, along with five adult volunteers.

The Somali rebel group also beat Muslims at the school for housing Kenyan Christians.
