The 27th annual National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest is underway. These are some of the photos that participate.Entries will be accepted until June 30, 2015.

The World Press Photo 2015 jury highlighted homosexuality in Russia, violence in Ukraine and Gaza, and the tragedies of Ebola and inmigration.

First prize goes to a photo supporting the LGBT movement in Russia. Immigration, Ebola and European demonstrations were also highlighted by the jury.
