Two bombing attacks in Kabul's airport killed at least 90. European governments are hurrying to evacuate as many people as possible, some have already finished evacuations.

Two bombs exploded on Sunday as people were gathered for a Catholic mass in Jolo, the capital of Sulu Province. Daesh (IS) claimed responsibility of the attack.

A truck bomb exploded near the foreign embassies and the Afghan presidential palace. Most of the victims were civilians. The Taliban have denied carrying out the attack.

Many lawyers had gathered to mourn a colleague shot dead earlier in the day. A faction of the Pakistani Taliban has said it was behind the bombing.

The attacker, who came to Germany two years ago, had his asylum claim rejected after a year and had tried to kill himself twice .

A series of enormous explosions killed at least 50 people and injured more than 700. Greenpeace warned “certain chemicals will pose a risk to the residents.”
