Christian leaders from five countries describe alcohol consumption in their society and how churches view it: “Moderate consumption is unproblematic for most evangelicals”.

VUSH, the country’s Evangelical Alliance, held its General Assembly. Over 190 churches and organisations are among its members.

Less than 20 evangelical believers were alive when Albania regained freedom in 1991. Now, there are about 200 evangelical churches in every corner of the country.

Several events to celebrate the 125th anniversary of VUSH (Evangelical Alliance Albania). “To understand evangelicals, you must understand the meaning of the gospel, the good news of God’s love for everyone”.

Churches from many regions met in Tirana to pray for the country and to speak of God as the “only hope” for Albania.

We, the Evangelicals of Albania, understand that this is how we must love our nation today in order to be true to our gospel calling.

The Qiriazi is a well-known family in the country but not many know that it was the gospel that motivated their work in education.

“About 650 families will not be able to provide income because water flooded the crops,” said Evangelicals on the ground. Aid is needed for “people who have lost everything”.
