The Spanish government hopes to reduce the working week to 37.5 hours. But work is not the enemy, it is the conditions that do not allow for healthy growth and service, Christians say.

Over 300 Christian graduates and professionals from all backgrounds came together to listen to Dan Strange and other speakers on the theme of how to turn all spheres of life into an act of worship to God.

Around 280 professionals, students, and church leaders attended the once-in-a-decade conference. Dr John Wyatt was the main speaker of a programme that included 15 other thematic seminaries.

A representative of the local authorities congratulated the graduates. Spanish evangelical leaders also attended the event.

“Youth ministry has to work on areas such as excellence in life, a correct stewardship of time and resources, and a constant dependence on God that generates confidence in economic entrepreneurship”, says Marcos Zapata.

The mentorship programme Cross-Current has conducted a study among 350 Christian graduates over the past four years. Many have “a strong desire to apply biblical integrity and virtues to their work” but they face “real challenges”.

Jesúa López emphasises the importance that the Christian student groups GBU (IFES) had during his university years: “I grew a lot spiritually”.

The Revivalympics initiative encourages students to pray for a revival in the university context. Over 1,100  “from every corner of Europe” have already registered for the second Revive conference at the end of this year.

The conference organised by IFES Europe will take place next December in Karlsruhe, Germany, under the theme “Revive our hearts, revive our universities, revive Europe”.

Karlsruhe hosts the 6-day-long evangelism conference and joint New Year celebration. Bible expositions on Acts, workshops, worship, arts, encourage university students to “wait on God” and respond with the gospel to Europe's spiritual hunger.

The gahtering of the Graduates Bible Groups in Spain challenged Christians professionals to share the beauty of the Christian faith with their coworkers - with excellence, respect and responsibility.

Surveys show that integrity is highly sought after in many workplaces but few can confidently define it.

Pioneers of the evangelical student movement in Spain were honoured in a special celebration. Around 500 people gathered for a national conference with the theme “Shining Like Stars”.

More than 750 have already registered for a conference that aims to equip and inspire thousands of students and graduates “full of faith that God can do amazing things in Europe”.

“We want people to remember their Creator during their youth, and then to run fast, shining brightly for His glory throughout their working lives”, says Graduate Impact coordinator Tim Vickers.

About 300 participants took part in the first FOJEC conference. A biblical view of business as well as study cases were shared with a generation eager to make a lasting impact in society.

The Christian Teacher’s Network gathers 400 people in the Czech Republic, the most secular country in Europe. They aim to share vision and resources with teachers in other countries.

The Jubilee Centre offers an online programme that “unpacks the biblical vision for society, and introduces the idea of thinking relationally”. European students are welcomed.
