Church planting and revitalisation, media, theology, charitable work, and ministry to younger generations were some of the topics addressed by participants from countries such as Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Ukraine.
The International Acts 1,8 Conference in Radość (Warsaw) took place from March 20 to 22 and was the fourth edition of this event.
The gathering brought together Baptist leaders from Central and Eastern Europe. Over 70 participants from Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Albania, Ukraine, Austria, the Netherlands, and the United States took part. The event was organised by the Baptist Church in Poland and the Baptist Union of Hungary.

Topics related to mission and the preaching of the Gospel were discussed in the main session, inspired by the teachings from 2 Timothy in the Bible.
Participants then had the opportunity to choose from ‘thematic paths’ such as church leadership, communication and media, church planting and revitalisation, theology, charitable work, and ministry to the younger generations.

The conference also included times of prayer, worship songs to God, and times of fellowship.
The conference provided an “excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences, building cooperation, and spiritually strengthening leaders from our region”, the organisers said.

Participants “left the conference empowered, equipped, and motivated to continue serving God despite the challenges. What they heard will undoubtedly inspire them to further their missionary work in their countries”.
