‘Firm and secure anchor’ was the theme of the events held in the cities of Albacete and Oviedo.
Aglow Spain brought together around 1,700 women in two conferences under the theme Firm and secure anchor.
The first event took place in the Eastern Spanish city of Albacete from 31 January to 2 February, where around 1,000 women enjoyed a programme full of worship, workshops and moments of prayer.
The president of Aglow Spain, Ana Giménez, welcomed the participants with enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of anchoring our identity in Jesus.
The event was attended by local authorities such as Rosa María González de la Aleja Sirvent, who represented the Albacete City Council, and Jorge Fernández, councillor of Federation of Evangelical Religious Entities of Spain (Ferede).
The plenary sessions were led by pastors Kelly and Andrés Spyker from the Más Vida church in Mexico, who inspired participants to reject negative labels and to live in hope.
The programme included artistic performances, such as contemporary dance and music by the Castilla La Mancha Gospel Choir.

The second conference took place from 7-9 February in the northern Spanish city of Oviedo, where some 750 women came together for a similar experience.
Pablo Losa, president of the Evangelical Council of Asturias, and Monchu Suárez, pastor and councillor of Aglow Spain, gave the greetings and prayers.
Well-known pastor in the US Danilo Montero and his wife Gloriana Díaz were the speakers of an event that continued to promote hope and connection with the Holy Spirit.

There was a also tribute to Nieves Serrano, who was part of the national board and was called to the presence of the Lord in October 2024, leaving a legacy of joy and faith in thousands of women.

Aglow, which began in 1967 with a small group of women, has grown to 4,000 groups in 172 nations. In Spain, the group seeks to be a beacon of light and hope, seeking to foster unity among churches.
The next meeting of Aglow Spain will be from 30 January to 1 February 2026. "We hope to see more women united in this beautiful journey of faith", says the team.
