The online class on 9 March will look at how Christians “can shepherd themselves and others from a place of burden to the experience of blessing”.
A new Forum of Christian Leaders (FOCL) master class will take place on Saturday, 9 March.
As in previous editions, registration is free and available for all.
Dave Patty, president of Christian association Josiah Venture and founding member of Global Youth Initiative, which mobilises and equips youth ministry trainers in over 60 countries of the world, will be teaching a 3-hour and a half-long (15.00 – 18.00 GMT) free master class titled “How to grow toward spiritual health and flourishing”.
“Some people seem to exhibit resilience and joy no matter what they are facing. Others appear to be regularly trapped in the swamp of situations that are out of their control”, says the FOCL in the presentation of the class.
The master class aims to find out “how can you experience more of your Christian life in the first category and shepherd yourself and others from a place of burden to the experience of blessing”.
That is why Patty will look at the Psalms, which are “an amazing source of insight and comfort”, to find 5 “overarching patterns”, and explain “how to use them to bring spiritual health and flourishing”.
The session will be held on the Zoom platform, and will include a time for questions and answers. Participants will be able to join from home or in groups from church settings.
The FOCL also organises the annual European Leadership Forum conference in Wisla, Poland. The registration for the 2024 gathering is still open.
