The main result of the Lausanne Europe Online Gathering so far is the strengthening of links between evangelicals across Europe and across vocations and ministries.
The chair of LE20/21 Lars Dahle emphasizes the significance of the Lausanne Movement as a convener of key people to meet, talk and think together as well as listen to one another.
Today, Friday 19th November, the delegates could choose from a long list of seminars. The topics up for discussion ranged from: “Collaboration between Diaspora and European Churches”, “Purposeful Sexuality: What is sexuality for?”, “The Conflict of Faith and Science as a stumbling Block in Mission”, and “Workplace Insights for Shaping Europe.”
Lars Dahle is excited about the responses he has received from delegates across Europe.

One wrote: “How amazing it is to see Christians called into politics! Great to hear your story, sister!” Another said: “Anyone else deeply touched and full of gratitude as we watch this together?”
Lars Dahle had just finished a lunch meeting with delegates when I interviewed him. The participants talked together online as they ate their food in their respective places. The chair of LE20/21 said that the significance of such informal meetings is that people are getting to know one another. They can seek advice on how to handle situations they are in, such as how to unite Christians around evangelism, and how to address secular challenges.
We asked our delegates about the reason that made them raised their voice in their communities and this is what they answered.
