The UK’s most visited pornographic website lost over a million visitors. “Our children deserve a porn free childhood”, says the Online Safety lead for Christian charity CARE.

Self-declaration of age is not acceptable, says Ofcom. “Companies that fail to meet these new requirements can expect to face enforcement action”.

The “potentially harmful statements” were aired by LoveWorld, a broadcaster owned by a Nigerian megachurch.

“For many people, religion is a defining part of their life and should therefore be given greater focus”, Ofcom’s report on Equal Opportunities in Television says.
