About 1,000 people gathered to remember the victims of Germanwings Flight 9525. Although many had asked for a plural ceremony, it was a Catholic service. Evangelical, Jewish and Muslim representatives only spoke at the end of the ceremony.

Some 1,500 guests attended the ecumenical service to mourn the victims of the Germanwings flight that crashed in France last month.

Second "black box" from Germanwings: co-pilot Andreas Lubitz purposely used the controls to speed up the plane's descent.

The co -pilot received psychotherapy treatment before getting his pilot’s licence. DNA strands of 80 of the victims have been found.
