Florence Muindi is the Founder President of Life in Abundance (LIA) International, a faith-based non-profit headquartered in Nairobi. LIA International is committed to serving the poor and vulnerable through the local church, as well as megaphoning the holistic mission globally through the Institute. A medical doctor specialized in public health through the University of Nairobi, Florence also received training in Switzerland and Belgium in specialized public health interventions and holds a diploma in urban poor theology. She and her family have been in cross cultural service for about 30 years, initially serving among the Maasai in Kenya, then among the leprosy-affected in Ethiopia before expanding the work internationally. Her efforts were recognized and awarded with an honorary doctorate of humane letters, conferred by Daystar University, Kenya, where she now serves as chancellor.
