The European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) will host the fith edition of its Hope for Europe gathering, from 5-9 October in Golem, Albania, under the theme “Hope in uncertain times”.

According to the organisers, the Hope for Europe 2026, “rather than a traditional speaker-driven conference, is a gathering of like-minded leaders who actively contribute to the conversations, believing that many of the answers Europe needs are already present in the room”.

“Hope 2026 seeks to extend the visibility and influence of evangelicals in Europe, strengthen partnerships across ministries and nations, and inspire new initiatives that serve both the Church and wider society”, they add.

For the EEA, “in a time like this Hope 2026 is even more needed, as it is about sharing and spreading Hope and holding on to Hope as written in 1 Timothy 4, 10”.

Plenaries, worship, workshops, networking and conversations

Around 280 participants will enjoy a program that offers “a rich combination” of plenary sessions, worship, workshops, networking opportunities, and collaborative conversations.

“Special attention will be given to strengthening cooperation between National Evangelical Alliances, thematic networks (our EEA Hope for Europe networks), and leaders serving in different spheres of society”, explains the EEA.

The speaker for the morning devotionals will be Goodwill Shana, the founder and senior pastor of Word of Life International Ministries, based in Zimbabwe; while the evening plenaries will focus on the topic of hope from three different angles: “hope that anchors, transforms and connects”.

There will also be what organisers called “hope labs” about differents topics such as Family and identity; Society and nation; Organizational development & sustainability; Digital mission; Faith in public square; Mission paradigms; and Leadership; all of them led by well-kwonw evangelical leaders.

The registration to Hope 2026 is still open. You will find all the information here.
