The European Motorcyclists for Christ Rally will take place from August 6 to 10, under the motto “Spirit driven”.
Hundreds of bikers from all over Europe will gather at the European Motorcyclists for Christ (EMC) Rally 2025, which will take place from August 6 to 10 at the Les Cerneux campsite in the Swiss canton of Jura.
There will be spiritual workshops on the motto “Spirit Driven” based on Romans chapter 8, time to worship and pray, as well as to explore the Jura region on excursion, enjoy music and a barbacue.
“The Rally is a meeting place for brothers and sisters of faith who share a passion for motorcycles and Jesus and aim to make the gospel known among bikers. The annual meetings are there to encourage each other and to share experiences and difficulties”, explains Simon Giese, one of the EMC Rally organisers in an interview with Swiss news website Livenet.
The EMC “began in 1989 in Germany, when representatives of various Christian motorcycle clubs from Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, England and Germany met to think about ideas and possibilities for exchange and cooperation”, says its website.
They decided to publish a magazine called Headlights - Showing The Way Forward and to organise a meeting in Voorthuizen, the Netherlands, in 1990.
“The magazine was discontinued after a few years, but the first meeting in the Netherlands was followed by 32 more, so that this year it will be the 34th EMC Rally”.
