In Kristiansand (Norway), dozens of pioneers met for the 2025 M4 conference. The gathering included community learning, creative inputs and a call to preach the gospel boldly.

Strategic planning and small groups to learn from each other were two of the elements of the annual conference of M4, an European church planting movement that trains local Christians in “planting healthy, reproducing churches that glorify God and impact society”.
At the end of June, church planters came together in Kristiansand (Norway) for the 2025 conference under the title ‘Forming Lasting Faith’.

[/photo_footer] United worship, practical workshops and a range of speakers sought to encourage national and regional church movements “to make disciples who make disciples in today’s cultural context”.
According to Oivid Augland, founder of M4 Europe, the three-day gathering, “we heard inspiring input from practitioners like Matt Markins and Mark Sayers, dug into personal and national discipleship journeys, and explored mission through real-life stories and creative pitches”.

A strong emphasis this year was cross-cultural understanding, next-generation faith, and missional living.

“To preach the Gospel is nothing other than to let Christ come to us”, say the oprganisers. “Statistics indicate that outside the church, there is growing spiritual openness among people”.
