Trans World Radio features daily one-hour live broadcasts with testimonies of Christian athletes to “convey a message of hope to Arabic-speaking audiences”.
The Arabic Christian Ministry of Trans World Radio (TWR) is carrying out an evangelistic campaign, coinciding with the 2024 Olympics in France.
From the Olympics opening ceremony to the closing day, the campaign features a daily one-hour live broadcasts in both audio and video formats, which is accessible across its social media platforms, as well as its online streaming radio service.
They aim to “convey a message of hope and encouragement to Arabic-speaking audiences worldwide”, and pray that “our broadcasts will touch numerous hearts and draw them closer to Jesus Christ”.
“Witnessing remarkable displays of human strength and determination reminds us of the ultimate hope we have in Christ, who empowers us in all our endeavours”, point out the creators.
With the daily one-hour live broadcasts, TWR expects “to capture the essence of sportsmanship and showcases God’s work through sports”.
In addition to the broadcasts, the campaign includes the testimonies of Olympic Christian athletes, who will share how their faith has impacted their sports careers.
Furthermore, “we connect success stories of triumph and perseverance to everyday life, highlighting how the principles of resilience and faith can help us overcome our own challenges and achieve success”, explains TWR.
Those stories are intertwined with biblical teaching, “offering hope and a spiritual perspective”.
